A European standard in preparation

Up to now, Multisports structures were not covered by any specific standards.

The safety constraints set out for them were linked to those applicable to other products, grouped together in a French standard: NF S 52-901 Outdoor Sports equipments with free access.

 

Over the last few years, work has been done to draw up a European standard specifically covering Multisports equipment: EN 15312. The standard is almost ready, and it is undergoing its final validation by CEN prior to application, which is planned for 2007.

To take the new standard into account, the Proludic Activ’action Multisports equipment has been designed to comply with the standard, and it is already certified as being in conformity with the recommendations set out in the future standard...
