2009 Salon des Maires show: Proludic makes the news with the official launch of Ludic’Area

The 2009 Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales show held for mayors and local authorities in France was a key event for Proludic, enabling it to make its official presentation in France for its new play area development concept: Ludic’Area.

Thanks to an original presentation on a stand designed to set it apart from the surrounding stands, the elected officials, regional and local decision makers and private players acting on behalf of local authorities enjoyed the privilege of finding out about Ludic’Area through various special events and attractions:

The central element was a 1/25 scale model of a development project for an open space highlighting various play structures and a realistic portrayal of them, including the towers for the Fantastic Cities, the Suspended World, the Vertical World, etc…
A detailed, animated presentation of the Ludic’Area concept
A film showing the inspirations behind the concept and the origins of the themes proposed
Details on new ways of playing, inclusion and access for children of all abilities, and outdoor sports activities underlined important aspects of the Ludic’Area concept
An interactive catalogue with animated 3D views, and examples of development layouts

The Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales drew record numbers of visitors (just over 55,000 for the three days). The Proludic stand was also busy with large numbers of visitors interested in the Ludic’Area concept and eager to find out more.

Our sales team was present in full, to provide plenty of details and present Proludic’s major innovation for 2010, and identify numerous projects envisaged by their contacts.

The novelty of the concept, the innovations shown in the products, and the originality of the stand, together with the warm welcome given to our customers and prospects, made a considerable impact.

The show was the starting point for commercialisation of a large-scale concept stemming from almost two years of development work at Proludic.
